A major Belgian financial institution's retail digital channels team delivers customer-facing web and mobile experiences and is currently executing its logon and communication roadmap. This Business Analyst role blends business analysis and agile project management methodologies to coordinate stakeholders and vendors, refine requirements for delivery teams, and safeguard end-to-end value for digital channels.
The mission
The team runs product and technical work that improves login flows, in-app communications and integrated channel behaviour across web and mobile, interfacing with marketing, customer experience and several third-party vendors. The environment follows agile delivery, with multiple concurrent sprints and cross-functional squads responsible for incremental releases to customers.
You will own the analysis and project management activities for features on the logon and comms roadmap, from discovery through to release and validation. Day to day you will gather and challenge requirements, translate stakeholder needs into prioritized backlog items, coordinate vendors and internal engineering squads, and track delivery against quality, timeline and budget constraints. You will regularly present progress to senior stakeholders and ensure delivered increments preserve the intended end-to-end customer experience.
Your responsibilities
- Lead delivery of roadmap items, ensuring features are released on schedule and meet agreed acceptance criteria
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear, prioritized requirements and user stories that squads can implement
- Coordinate vendors, solution design and engineering teams to resolve dependencies and integration points
- Manage project risks, scope changes and mitigation plans to protect delivery timelines and quality
- Track and report project status, budget and benefits to senior stakeholders and adjust plans as required
- Facilitate workshops and sprint refinement sessions to align product owners, UX, marketing and operations
Your profile
Essential skills
- 6+ years of combined project management and business analysis experience, preferably in a digital channels environment
- Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder programmes, including vendor coordination and technical teams
- Strong competence with agile project management methodologies and backlog refinement practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English, able to present to senior stakeholders
- Solid analytical skills and a structured approach to documenting requirements and acceptance criteria
Preferred skills
- Experience with digital customer channels (web, mobile, in-app messaging)
- Knowledge of daily banking products and services
- Project Management Methodology certification (Prince2, PMP or equivalent)
