A global corporate Cash Management competence centre defines strategy and priorities for the group's cash services. This senior business analyst role exists to translate business challenges into scalable, user-centric payments solutions, using requirements management and conceptual modelling techniques to reduce exceptions and increase payment transparency.
The mission
The role sits within the Payments Tribe and contributes to the Payment Excellence initiative that improves end-to-end corporate payment flows. Work covers upgrades to exception handling, automation of investigations, and alignment with ISO20022 and SWIFT-driven standards, with solutions scoped for multi-entity rollouts and measurable KPI improvements.
On a day-to-day basis you will lead the business analysis on initiatives at both cluster and initiative level. You will partner with the Cluster Product Owner and squads to shape features, refine use cases, produce functional requirements and acceptance criteria, and ensure designs are testable and measurable. You will coordinate multi-country stakeholders, support testing and rollout activities, and track delivery milestones on a project basis.
Your responsibilities
- Lead business analysis for Payment Excellence initiatives, delivering requirements and acceptance criteria that reduce exception volumes and lower client contact rates.
- Translate business needs into measurable KPIs and clear functional requirements that guide squads and testers toward verifiable outcomes.
- Define and maintain conceptual models and workflow diagrams that clarify end-to-end payment and investigation processes for stakeholders and developers.
- Drive automation of exception handling and investigation workflows, supporting implementations such as SWIFT Case Manager and ISO20022-compatible flows where applicable.
- Facilitate cross-entity refinement sessions, align requirements across product, operations and technical teams, and resolve scope conflicts to keep delivery on schedule.
- Validate deliveries through data-driven checks, support user acceptance testing, and confirm that implemented solutions meet the agreed business outcomes.
