A large retail banking unit needs short-term support to remediate a partial loss of client documentation. The role combines operational KYC rework with light PMO support, using strong MS Office skills and familiarity with various IT tools to reconstruct files and monitor remediation progress.
The mission
The programme responds to a documented gap in KYC files after a data incident, creating a time-limited surge in workload across operations and compliance. The technical landscape mixes Excel-based trackers, the bank's case management tools and several reporting spreadsheets used to monitor backlog and compliance KPIs. Deliverables are focused on restoring documentation completeness and demonstrating alignment with regulatory expectations.
Day to day you will re-perform KYC checks on impacted files, complete missing documentation and coordinate with operations, compliance and business owners to close gaps. You will also run basic PMO activities: maintain volume tracking, produce simple progress reports, flag risks and propose pragmatic process improvements to reduce rework. The role reports into the remediation lead and works closely with a small cross-functional team of operations and compliance colleagues.
