A major life insurance division is automating customer due diligence and KYC workflows as part of a portfolio migration and commercial development programme. The Business Analyst KYC Automation will translate regulatory KYC and AML requirements into clear business and technical requirements, working with APIs and automation tools to modernise identity verification and recertification triggers.
The mission
The role sits in a 10-person Business Change & Monitoring team focused on individual and collective life insurance. The current programme aims to digitalise KYC, reduce manual verifications and integrate identity checks into service-oriented architectures, including APIs and microservices, to support a large portfolio migration over the next 12–24 months.
On a day-to-day basis you will map and analyse existing KYC processes and related data flows, define requirements to enable automation, and validate solutions through process and calculation testing. You will act as the bridge between business, IT and compliance, produce regular progress reports, and help prioritise requirements so automation delivers measurable reductions in manual effort and regulatory risk.
Your responsibilities
- Translate regulatory KYC and AML obligations into concrete, testable business requirements and acceptance criteria
- Design and optimise end-to-end KYC process flows and data models to enable automation and API-based integrations

- Execute and oversee process and calculation tests, report defects, and verify remediation before deployment
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, present findings to compliance and operations, and drive consensus on recertification triggers
- Produce clear progress and risk reporting to project management and business owners
