As Business Analyst Marketing Automation with hands-on Adobe Campaign expertise, you will translate complex marketing strategies and compliance requirements into reliable, scalable campaign architectures that marketing teams can operate with confidence.
The Mission
You will join the customer-data tribe inside a major financial institution where a team of 75 professionals maintains customer identity, lifecycle capabilities and cross-channel interactions. The Adobe Campaign estate drives transactional and marketing messages across email, SMS and push, integrated with CRM, analytics and middleware via APIs and webhooks, and many campaigns require strict opt-in handling and audit trails.
Your role is to act as the functional expert for Adobe Campaign, owning requirements, solution design and end-to-end delivery for high-impact campaigns. You will translate marketing strategies into technical specifications for Adobe Campaign, define data models, design workflows, lead UAT and A/B testing, and ensure campaigns run with higher deliverability, lower compliance risk and clearer traceability.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the elicitation, documentation and prioritisation of Adobe Campaign requirements, converting marketing objectives into user stories and technical specifications that development and operations can execute.
- Design, configure and optimise Adobe Campaign workflows for targeting, segmentation, personalization, scheduling and error handling, improving delivery rates and campaign resilience.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance within Adobe Campaign, define mapping and synchronization rules with CRM systems, and maintain audit trails for regulated communications.
- Drive end-to-end validation, define UAT cases including email rendering and suppression logic, execute A/B tests and approve releases based on measurable acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with marketing, IT and external vendors to resolve API, schema and integration issues and to implement scalable automation for recurring campaigns.
- Measure campaign performance using delivery, open, click and conversion metrics and recommend data-driven improvements to templates, suppression logic and segmentation.
Your Profile
Essential Skills
- Minimum 3+ years relevant experience in marketing automation with hands-on Adobe Campaign configuration and campaign orchestration.
- Ability to translate marketing strategies into technical specifications, user stories and data models tailored to Adobe Campaign.
- Proven experience with CRM integrations, APIs, webhooks and data mapping between marketing and CRM systems.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR and regulatory requirements for financial communications, with experience documenting audit trails and approval processes.
- Practical experience designing UAT, running A/B testing frameworks and interpreting campaign metrics to drive improvements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to run workshops and align marketing and IT priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with other marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or HubSpot.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks, DMPs and automation of reporting and segmentation.
- Background in regulated industries, especially financial services, and experience with mandatory communications.
- Experience collaborating with external Adobe partners or vendors on complex implementations.
