The mission
The team maintains the Match-IT application that supports reception and accommodation centre operations, daily administrative flows and operational reporting. The technical landscape combines a web application, a small set of backend APIs, and a growing library of documented processes; the product is used by operational staff across multiple reception sites, and improving process clarity reduces administrative time for frontline colleagues.
You will own the analysis and redesign of end-to-end processes to make the application more flexible and user-friendly. Day to day you will run workshops with operations, model processes in business process modelling notation bpmn, translate outcomes into user stories for SCRUM teams, and validate changes with end users during iterative Agile sprints. You will also apply Lean techniques and business process re-engineering in public sector contexts to reduce handoffs and duplicate data entry.
Your responsibilities
- Lead outcome-focused process analysis, producing BPMN models and measurable targets that reduce administrative effort for operational staff
- Translate workshop findings into clear user stories and acceptance criteria for SCRUM teams, ensuring traceability from process model to implementation
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and stakeholder alignment, producing decisions and documented process baselines
- Drive business process re-engineering initiatives, applying Lean principles to simplify handoffs and remove non-value steps
- Validate deliveries with end users through iterative acceptance testing and refine requirements based on real operational feedback
- Monitor process change impact using simple operational metrics and propose follow-up improvements

Essential skills
- Proven capability in business process management, able to map, analyse and improve end-to-end operational processes
- Practical experience with business process modelling notation bpmn and translating models into development work
- Strong background in Agile delivery, comfortable working in SCRUM teams and writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Experience applying Lean thinking or continuous improvement techniques to reduce waste in administrative workflows
