A major life insurance provider is executing the VERDI migration to consolidate administration of individual life policies. The role sits in the Business Change & Monitoring team and focuses on detailed business analysis and end-to-end testing of individual life insurance products, especially legacy "Classique" products, to ensure accurate policy migration and uninterrupted operations.
The mission
The VERDI migration project is moving a portfolio of individual life insurance policies from a legacy system to a new target platform. The Business Change & Monitoring team of about 10 people (actuaries, business analysts, testers) is responsible for translating product rules and processes into requirements the target platform can support, validating calculation and process behaviour, and tracking delivery quality against project timelines.
On a day-to-day basis you will analyse product and process differences between source and target systems, define formal requirements and acceptance criteria, and prepare and execute process and calculation tests. You will work directly with IT, operations, distribution and actuarial colleagues to resolve ambiguities and to ensure that migrated policies behave according to business rules for individual life insurance and Classique products.
Your responsibilities
- Produce clear, testable business requirements that enable accurate migration of individual life insurance policies and reduce post-migration exceptions.
- Identify and document process impacts and control points, ensuring migration changes preserve contractual obligations and calculation logic.
- Coordinate stakeholders across IT, operations, distribution and actuarial teams to close gaps and secure timely decisions.
- Design and execute process and calculation tests, validate test results, and sign off readiness for migration waves.
- Report progress and risks regularly, providing traceable evidence for requirement coverage and test coverage.
- Maintain precise migration documentation and support post-migration validation and reconciliations.
