A payments-focused team inside a major financial services organisation needs a senior Business Enabling Key User to bridge business teams and IT, with hands-on experience in requirements gathering and Salesforce. The role exists to support Sales, Customer Care and Finance teams by delivering training, capturing change requests, and turning process improvements into tested, documented changes using risk based testing and change management.
The mission
The team supports multiple front-office and back-office functions that rely on a central payments application and Salesforce for customer and transaction data. Work covers incremental improvements, RFCs for small changes, and participation in medium-sized projects where you represent the business in requirement workshops and user acceptance testing.
Day to day you will be embedded with assigned business domains, designing and running training sessions, producing support material and work instructions, and preparing coaching for team leaders. You will take incoming improvement requests, develop concise business cases, formalise RFCs or project proposals, contribute to prioritisation discussions, and follow changes through testing and deployment with structured change management.
Your responsibilities
- Drive adoption, by designing and delivering training programs and support materials that reduce repeat incidents and increase first-call resolution.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements and business cases, enabling prioritisation and predictable delivery.
- Validate developments through risk based testing and lead or support UAT to ensure release quality.
- Improve processes, by identifying lean process changes and implementing quick wins that reduce manual work and error rates.
- Support complex cases as a second or third line contact and contribute to stabilising operational flows.
- Produce and maintain detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures to secure consistent execution across teams.
Your profile
Essential skills
- Minimum 6+ years of experience working in business-facing roles within the financial sector.
- Proven capability in requirements gathering and in writing concise business cases.
- Experience defining lean processes and applying risk based testing approaches.
- Strong practical knowledge of Salesforce or an equivalent CRM used for payments and customer data.
- Advanced proficiency with Office tools, including Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for training materials.
- Experience in change management, including preparing communications, running training and supporting adoption.
- Able to train and coach colleagues, and to communicate at all organisational levels.
