A regional public heritage agency is building DIGIPAT, an integrated platform on Odoo to manage the lifecycle of heritage files and reference data. This role exists to establish and lead a functional, end-to-end testing capability for DIGIPAT and its integrated modules, combining manual user acceptance testing with automated checks using Playwright and test management in Xray and Jira.
The mission
DIGIPAT will centralise processes such as classification, restoration and subsidy management, and will exchange data with several other regional and federal applications. The testing work covers the Odoo-based platform plus its integrations, and aims to ensure conformity, non-regression and reliable behaviour under realistic loads. Deliverables include test frameworks, traceable Xray test cases, test plans for conformity and non-regression, and clear test reports used by project teams and business owners.
You will join the Digipat application team and work with programme managers, SPW Digital project leads, and the platform test coordinator to put test governance in place early in the project. Day-to-day you will coach business testers, author and run functional and end-to-end scenarios, build automated Playwright suites where appropriate, file and track issues in Jira, and produce test reports that drive remediation and release decisions. The planned start of the mission is approximately 3 August 2026, selection and scheduling follow public sector procedures.
Your responsibilities
