A major Belgian financial institution is strengthening its Core Factoring stream within the One Factoring Program, and this role exists to deliver reliable data mapping and data migration to Lendscape. The team combines data engineers, business analysts and product owners to convert raw transaction and customer records into analytics-ready datasets, so strong data analytics and hands-on experience with Lendscape are central to the role.
The mission
The One Factoring Program aims to consolidate factoring operations and improve customer approaches by migrating legacy datasets into a single target platform, Lendscape. You will work on end-to-end data workstreams that cover source discovery, mapping, transformation and validation, with a focus on data quality, lineage and compliance for contractual and transactional factoring data.
Day to day you will act as a senior data governance specialist within the Core Factoring stream, leading data mapping for factoring operations and executing data migration to Lendscape. You will partner with product owners, data engineers and compliance officers to define acceptance criteria, implement data quality checks and produce migration sign-off artefacts that enable business users to use the migrated data.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and deliver target-to-source data mapping, producing clear mappings and transformation rules that the engineering team can implement.
- Drive and execute data migration to Lendscape, owning migration plans, cutover validation and reconciliation so the migrated dataset meets business acceptance.
- Translate business requirements into measurable data quality rules and monitoring, reducing data exceptions and improving downstream reporting accuracy.
- Validate migrated data and certify lineage and completeness, producing audit-ready documentation for compliance and internal control teams.
- Influence stakeholders across product, IT and compliance to prioritise data fixes and remediation actions that improve customer-facing processes.
- Mentor junior analysts on data sourcing techniques and analytical methods to uplift team capability.
