This role sits in a Business Daily Banking cluster that develops and optimises digital channels for professional customers (SMEs and enterprises). The work focuses on requirements gathering & analysis, customer journey mapping and BPMN to align product roadmaps with measurable OKRs and data-driven decisions.
The mission
You will join a cross-functional team delivering digital improvements to daily banking channels used by business customers, contributing to initiatives that cover payments, cards and accounts. The technical landscape blends process modelling (BPMN), analytics (Excel, Business Objects or equivalent) and agile delivery, with regular stakeholder boards and product governance.
Day to day you will translate business needs into validated business cases and clear implementation specifications for product owners and developers. You will run stakeholder mapping and workshops, produce customer journey artefacts and sliced user stories, and support testing and release activities to ensure delivered changes meet the expected business outcomes.
Your responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and validation of business cases that quantify costs, benefits and key risks, ensuring management and initiative boards can make informed decisions.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and alignment by mapping stakeholders, facilitating workshops and presenting progress to product and channel owners.
- Translate complex requirements into BPMN process models, prioritized user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Use data analysis (Excel, Business Objects or similar) to identify opportunities, measure channel performance and recommend optimisation actions.
- Support testing and release, clarifying business requirements during UAT and owning incident closure with functional analysts and developers.
- Produce concept designs, mock-ups and MVP definitions to guide UX testing and iterative delivery.
Your profile
Essential skills
- Minimum 6 years of experience in business analysis or digital business analyst roles, preferably on digital transformation projects in a consulting or client-facing environment.
- Strong capability in requirements gathering & analysis, customer journey mapping and user story slicing.
- Proficient in BPMN and in creating business specifications for IT teams.
- Experienced in data analysis using Excel, Business Objects or other market-leading analytics tools.
- Solid project management skills within agile frameworks (Scrum), including OKR definition and delivery tracking.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and presentation skills.
- Analytical thinker with proven problem-solving techniques such as root cause analysis, cost/benefit and SWOT.
Preferred skills
- Experience with concept design, UX testing and using data insights to optimise digital channels.
- Previous exposure to the financial services sector, and familiarity with payments, cards and accounts.
