A public-sector Marketing & Communication department runs customer experience for the organisation's mobile application and public website. This role exists to convert business requests and the strategic roadmap into clear functional solutions, applying business process management and mapping user journeys. The Digital Business Analyst role in Namur, Belgium will work across product, IT and external suppliers to keep the digital channels coherent and deliverable.
The mission
The team maintains the mobile app and the public website, delivering regular feature increments and maintenance work through agile sprints. The technical landscape combines vendor-developed components and in-house integrations; your analyses will ensure coherent behaviour across systems and consistent user journeys for customers. Work matters because these channels are the primary touchpoints for marketing campaigns and for transactional customer interactions.
On a day-to-day basis you will collect requirements from the strategic roadmap and operational teams, run stakeholder workshops, and translate needs into clear functional requirements and user stories. You will create wireframes to communicate screen behaviour, challenge proposed UX/UI designs, write functional specifications and acceptance criteria, and follow developments through sprint reviews and test validations with suppliers and developers.
Your responsibilities
- Translate business needs into functional requirements and user stories that development teams can estimate and deliver.
- Lead stakeholder workshops to surface priorities, map user journeys and align on acceptance criteria.
- Design wireframes and screen-level mockups, and challenge UX/UI proposals to ensure usability and consistency.
- Write and validate functional analyses, test plans and end-to-end scenarios to guarantee solution quality.
- Ensure cross-system coherence by checking integrations, data flows and shared business rules across the mobile app and website.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers and external suppliers during sprints and sprint reviews to clarify scope and validate deliveries.

Essential skills
- Proven capability in business process management, turning process issues into documented improvements and requirements.
- Strong track record translating business requirements into functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Practical experience on digital projects, comfortable working in agile teams and participating in sprint ceremonies.
- Ability to map and optimise user journeys, produce wireframes and challenge UX/UI decisions.
- Effective facilitation and stakeholder management skills, able to run workshops and keep diverse parties aligned.
- Clear documentation skills, producing test plans, functional documents and updated deliverables that development teams use.
