This role sits inside the Marketing & Communications function of a major financial services organisation and exists to maintain strategic project continuity while a colleague is on temporary assignment until year end. The team focuses on audience and workflow governance for campaign and channel orchestration, so strong experience in project management and project governance is required, with familiarity of Adobe Campaign or Workfront considered an advantage.
The mission
You will join the Audience & Workflow Management team to run a portfolio of cross-channel marketing projects that ensure alignment between audience strategy, campaign execution and operational workflows. The portfolio contains multiple parallel projects with interdependencies, governance forums and financial reporting obligations, and your work preserves delivery continuity and decision quality at the programme level.
Day to day you will operate at a strategic and operational level, consolidating progress, risks and budget positions, preparing steering committee materials and advising stakeholders. You will be responsible for dependency management across projects, escalation preparation, and turning strategic objectives into clear priorities, milestones and tracking mechanisms for the wider MarCom organisation.
Your responsibilities
- Lead programme-level governance to ensure timely decisions and clear accountability across projects
- Consolidate and present progress, dependencies, risks and financial forecasts to steering committees and senior stakeholders
- Translate strategic marketing objectives into project priorities, deliverable milestones and measurable follow-up mechanisms
- Anticipate and manage cross-project dependencies and risks, including preparing escalation packages and mitigation scenarios
- Control project budgets through regular financial follow-up, cost monitoring and forecasting to protect delivery and compliance
- Advise colleagues on complex, high-impact issues and act as a senior expert for cross-project decision support
Your profile
Essential skills
- Minimum 6 years proven experience managing complex, transversal projects at senior level
- Demonstrable capability in project governance and structured decision support
- Strong experience in dependency management and risk management across multiple projects
- Proven track record in financial follow-up, budget control and forecasting for project portfolios
- Fluent use of project management methodologies and tools, with ability to set up project tracking, reporting and steering rhythms
- Excellent stakeholder communication, judgement and facilitation skills, with high autonomy and accountability
Preferred skills
- Practical experience with Adobe Campaign and/or Workfront (Adobe solution)
- Experience in financial services or banking environments
- Project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, SAFe or similar) is an asset
