A banking IT tribe operates End-to-End Production Services that provide 24/7 on-call coverage, E2E L2 & L3 support and detailed technical design guidance for multiple product tribes. This Project Manager IT role exists to lead infrastructure initiatives within that tribe, translate complex infrastructure architecture designs into delivery plans, and coordinate suppliers and stakeholders using Agile practices.
The mission
You will join a transversal production organisation that acts as the technology reference for several APS teams and a central TechEx group. The team coordinates E2E production activities across five APS teams, maintains service availability for critical banking services, and supports Go-Live and post-Go-Live L2/L3 operations. The work matters because these initiatives protect service continuity for internal product tribes and external banking customers.
Day to day you will act as Initiative Owner or delivery lead for infrastructure projects, tracking feature status from Feature Delivery Owners, organising Agile ceremonies including Scrum of Scrums and Quarterly Agile Planning, and facilitating decisions between business stakeholders and IT suppliers. You will actively remove impediments at initiative and feature level, protect teams from scope creep, and ensure initiatives meet budget, quality, and timeline expectations.
Your responsibilities
- Drive delivery outcomes for infrastructure initiatives, ensuring agreed features are released on time and meet acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate and align internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve prioritisation, budget, and scope conflicts.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, report progress to Chapter and Tribe leads, and contribute to Scrum of Scrums and quarterly planning.
- Translate complex infrastructure architecture design documents into actionable delivery tasks and risk registers.
- Escalate and remove impediments, organise cross-team technical decision-making, and ensure readiness for Go-Live and handover to L2/L3 support.
- Monitor service availability KPIs and work with operations teams to implement corrective actions after incidents.
