A large life insurance organisation is implementing a programme of regulatory updates affecting products, processes and systems across its life portfolio. This role exists to manage end-to-end project delivery for regulatory changes, translating EU and Belgian requirements such as Solvency II, IDD, ESG and AML into practical product, process and IT changes and coordinating stakeholders across business, compliance, actuarial and IT.
The mission
The programme covers multiple regulatory initiatives that require impact assessments, product adaptations and system configuration changes. Projects range from updating product documentation and customer disclosures to configuration of policy administration systems, with deliverables including implementation roadmaps, risk logs and post-implementation reviews. You will work within a cross-functional environment that includes product owners, compliance, legal, actuarial and IT, and liaise with governance bodies to prepare material for audits and inspections.
On a day-to-day basis you will lead one or more regulatory projects from scoping to handover, own the project plan and status reporting, and ensure requirements are translated into testable technical and business specifications. You will run stakeholder workshops, track regulatory timelines, and measure delivery against agreed milestones and risk mitigations, keeping senior management informed through dashboards and governance reports.
