A shared government cloud tenant is the single technical barrier to a cleaner security posture and NIS2 readiness. As Project Manager SECaaS2 & Infrastructuurprojecten you will own the tenant exit and the follow-up SECaaS2 rollout, coordinating Azure AD/Entra ID tenant migrations and endpoint migration paths such as SCCM to Intune while keeping services live and auditable.
The Mission
You will lead a programme of strategic infrastructure and security projects for a major Belgian federal food safety authority, where the immediate priority is to exit a shared government cloud tenant so a dedicated MDR can be deployed. The technical landscape includes Azure AD/Entra ID tenants, endpoint management (SCCM, Intune), virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), SAN storage, and network segmentation and firewalling work required to meet NIS2 controls.
In this role you will plan, prepare and deliver the tenant separation and then take client-side project leadership for the SECaaS2 implementation delivered by an external provider. You will define identity architecture, sequence tenant migrations, steer vendor integration, and run governance and reporting that make NIS2 compliance practical and sustainable. Alongside SECaaS2 you will manage or contribute to parallel projects such as MFA/IGA selection, SCCM to Intune migration and data anonymisation efforts.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of the shared-tenant exit and Azure AD/Entra ID tenant migrations, minimising user impact and operational risk.
- Manage the SECaaS2 implementation as the client-side project lead, coordinating the external MDR provider and ensuring architectural alignment with identity and network teams.
- Define and validate identity architecture, migration waves, rollback plans and acceptance criteria aligned to NIS2 and GDPR constraints.
- Drive vendor management, stakeholder engagement and executive reporting, presenting clear decision points, risk mitigations and progress metrics.
- Oversee related infrastructure work: SCCM to Intune migrations, network segmentation and firewalling, virtualization and SAN activities.
- Apply Prince2 or equivalent project governance to control scope, timelines, risks and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
Your Profile
Essential Skills
- 10+ years leading complex IT infrastructure projects, delivering cross-functional outcomes.
- 10+ years using Prince2 or an equivalent structured project methodology.
- 4+ years experience in stakeholder management, supplier follow-up and executive reporting.
- 4+ years delivering cloud and tenant migrations or cloud introductions, with hands-on Azure AD/Entra ID experience.
- Working knowledge of NIS2 requirements and their impact on identity and security design.
- Practical experience with endpoint management and migrations, specifically SCCM and Intune.
- Basic knowledge of network architecture, segmentation and firewalling, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and SAN environments.
- 2+ years applying GDPR concepts, data anonymisation or data classification in projects.
- Strong communicator, structured decision maker and experienced coordinator of multidisciplinary teams.
