The organisation implements a pan-European e-invoicing and reporting compliance programme that touches SAP landscapes across multiple countries, and this role exists to keep those technical platforms stable and compliant. You will work on SAP Basis administration for SAP S/4 HANA systems running on SAP HANA databases, providing system installation, monitoring and transport management for the Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) e-invoicing initiative. The role requires hands-on SAP Basis and SAP HANA experience to support integration, deployments and post-go-live operations.
The mission
The programme is delivering SAP-based e-invoicing capabilities to comply with electronic reporting requirements across several European jurisdictions. The technical landscape includes SAP S/4 HANA systems on SAP HANA, multiple development/test/production stacks, and coordinated transports for legal-compliance releases. Maintaining availability and auditability of these systems is essential for the organisation to meet regulatory timelines.
You will be part of a technical delivery group that manages the SAP landscape during implementation and steady-state support. Day-to-day you will perform system installations and upgrades, coordinate transports between development, test and production environments, monitor performance and availability, and assist integration teams with connectivity and security configurations. You will also support testing and post-go-live stabilisation for each country rollout.
Your responsibilities
- Maintain and administer SAP S/4 HANA systems on SAP HANA databases to ensure stable, secure operations and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate transport management and landscape changes across development, test and production environments to support scheduled releases
- Monitor system performance and availability, investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime
- Install, patch and upgrade SAP components and apply kernel or database fixes as required for project milestones
- Support integrations and connectivity tasks for interfacing systems, including troubleshooting RFCs, IDocs and other SAP connectors
- Participate in deployment activities and provide second-line technical support during testing and post-go-live phases

Essential skills
- Proven capability in SAP Basis administration, including system installation, patching and upgrades
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA and working knowledge of SAP HANA databases
- Experience managing transports and landscape coordination across development, test and production
- Practical skills in system monitoring, performance analysis and technical troubleshooting
- Ability to work within a project delivery team and communicate technical status to functional and compliance stakeholders
