The organisation is a major player in the European payments sector running multiple product teams that deliver transaction services and customer-facing payment features. This role of Scrum Master requires strong Scrum and Kanban practice, plus hands-on experience with Rally to run agile ceremonies and reporting for a payments squad.
The Mission
You will join a cross-functional payments squad responsible for one or more product streams that process customer payments and related reconciliations. The team combines analysis, development and testing disciplines and follows an agile delivery cadence; work focuses on maintaining reliable delivery while improving throughput, quality and traceability in a regulated payments environment.
On a day-to-day basis you will run and improve the squads agile process: schedule and facilitate sprint ceremonies, keep the backlog and DoD practices clear with the Product Owner, remove impediments and track velocity and capacity for planning. You will also liaise with external stakeholders and third-party providers, sponsor continuous improvement actions and support adoption of test automation and CI tooling where relevant. Occasional travel to Paris can be expected for stakeholders meetings.
