A major Belgian financial institution operates multiple cross-functional squads delivering core banking and customer-facing services. This medior Scrum Master role exists to coach one squad in Scrum practices and run agile reporting with tools such as Jira, while supporting automated testing and continuous integration pipelines to keep delivery predictable and repeatable.
The mission
The squad is a cross-functional team of around 8 to 10 people including developers, testers and analysts, contributing to a product used by internal business users and thousands of customers. The technical landscape includes automated unit and functional tests, CI tooling, and a product backlog aligned to a multi-squad delivery roadmap, so reliability and incremental delivery matter.
On a day-to-day basis you will run and improve Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments and coach the team toward self-organization and a reliable Definition of Done. You will work closely with the Product Owner and neighbouring squads to surface cross-squad dependencies, track delivery risks and ensure sprint outcomes map to roadmap milestones and release plans.
