The business unit develops and operates digital solutions for employee benefits and healthcare insurance, maintaining transactional employer and employee portals and their backend integrations. This Test Analyst Digital Solutions role exists to strengthen functional testing across new features and maintenance releases, with hands-on work in functional testing, test strategy and test execution including bug logging and non-regression testing.
The mission
You will join a multidisciplinary Digital Solutions team (around 8–12 analysts, testers and coordinators) responsible for several web and mobile flows used by employers and employees, tightly integrated with backend services. The technical landscape combines front-end transactional pages, API-driven backends and regular releases that require automated and manual non-regression checks. Quality work here reduces production incidents for critical benefits and claims flows.
On a daily basis you will own functional test activities across project and maintenance workstreams. That includes writing test strategies, deriving scenarios and scripts from functional requirements, executing tests and logging and following up on defects. You will collaborate with IT, product stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Legal, Services) and other analysts to clarify missing requirements and place testing outcomes in the broader project context.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure delivered features meet functional requirements by designing and executing test scenarios and scripts, producing clear pass/fail evidence.
- Produce and maintain test strategies and test plans that cover new functionality and recurrent non-regression testing.
- Execute functional test cycles, log defects with reproducible steps and track fixes through to closure.
- Analyse functional requirements, identify gaps or ambiguities and propose testable clarifications to the lead analyst.
- Communicate test progress and quality risks to stakeholders through concise reporting and escalation when needed.
- Contribute to maintenance incident resolution by reproducing issues, providing impact analysis and validating fixes.
Your profile
Essential skills
- Junior testing capability, typically 0–3 years of experience in testing or business analysis, able to work independently on assigned features.
- Ability to translate functional requirements into testable scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Strong attention to detail, investigative mindset and accuracy when documenting defects and test results.
- Good communicator who can liaise with IT teams and business stakeholders to resolve requirement gaps and technical questions.
- Comfortable working in a structured, changeable environment and taking responsibility for testing outcomes.
Preferred skills
- Practical experience with functional testing, writing test strategies, scenarios and scripts.
- Experience searching or generating test data and executing non-regression test cycles.
- Hands-on defect logging and follow-up, with familiarity of standard bug tracking workflows.
- Ability to understand basic technical complexity of applications and discuss integration points with developers and architects.
