A Belgian employee benefits and health-care business unit develops and maintains the applications that support group insurance claims and healthcare reimbursements. This Test Analyst role strengthens the Health Care Insight & Projects team to ensure quality across Medical Care (hospitalisation and ambulatory) and Income Care claims, with a focus on structured test preparation, system integration test and user acceptance test, and practical use of MS Word and MS Excel.
The mission
The Business Engineering department delivers functional changes and projects that touch claim handling workflows, integrations with other IT systems, and the user interfaces used by claims handlers and business experts. Work sits on delivery roadmaps for Medical Care Claims and Income Care Claims; tests validate changes to business rules, data exchanges and regression stability before production release.
On a day-to-day basis you analyse existing functional specifications, translate them into a clear test strategy and detailed test scripts, and execute System Integration Tests and User Acceptance Tests. You log and track defects with the IT teams, run regression tests to protect stability after fixes, and write progress reports that keep stakeholders informed. Collaboration with business analysts and end users is regular, and you contribute to improving test processes and documentation.
Your responsibilities
- Define and document a test strategy that maps to functional specifications and project acceptance criteria.
- Translate specifications into executable test scripts and acceptance scenarios for SIT and UAT.
- Execute test campaigns, log defects, verify fixes and close validation cycles to ensure release readiness.
- Produce clear progress reports and test summary reports that inform business stakeholders and technical teams.

- Propose practical improvements to test cases, documentation and the handover between business and IT.
