A large life insurance business unit runs product, subscription and regulatory change projects and needs structured business-side testing before any release. This Test Officer role sits in the Application Support area and focuses on system testing and user acceptance testing, turning business requirements into test plans, executable test cases and test data for life insurance processes.
The mission
This team validates business changes across investment, protection and second-pillar products, typically for new product launches, subscription process updates, digital journeys and regulatory changes. Projects vary from small fixes to multi-stream deliveries where a single release can affect policy, claims and maturity flows; test teams for large projects can run with several testers in parallel.
You will be responsible for ensuring functional coverage and business risk control before production go-live. Day-to-day you translate requirements and solution analyses into structured test scenarios, prepare test data sets, execute system and acceptance tests, log and follow up defects and verify fixes. You work under a Test Coordinator, collaborate closely with Business Analysts and IT squads, and provide impact analysis across affected modules.

- Execute system testing and user acceptance testing to validate end-to-end business flows and data integrity
- Identify and communicate business impacts and risks, ensuring defects are triaged and resolved before go-live

- Improve test artefacts and practices by proposing changes to test strategy and reuse of test cases
- Collaborate with BAs, developers and support teams to clarify requirements and verify implemented fixes
