A public-sector IT team is building SACHA, an online, modular agricultural management and accounting platform used to collect and analyse farm data across Wallonia. This mid‑level testing role exists to automate and validate the solution end to end, using tools such as JMeter, Selenium and SoapUI and to produce the reports and dashboards that stakeholders rely on.
The mission
SACHA is a domain-specific accounting application with an Angular back-office, Spring Boot APIs and a PostgreSQL database, hosted on the regional SPW Digital platform. The project covers complex stock and journal logic for farms, import/export connectors to external sources, role-based access, workflow handling and document archiving. Your testing work supports a system used for regulatory reporting and sector analysis, so correctness and traceability are essential.
On a day-to-day basis you will join an agile delivery team of developers, business analysts and product stakeholders to design, implement and run automated tests across UI, API and integration layers. You will execute and maintain test suites in JMeter, Selenium, Playwright and SoapUI, capture defects in Jira Xray, and publish dashboards and test reports that drive release decisions. The primary assignment is to the SACHA project, with occasional temporary support to other projects depending on workload.
Your responsibilities
- Design and deliver automated test suites that validate business rules for accounting, stock management and data imports
- Implement performance and load scenarios in JMeter and report findings that influence capacity and optimisation work
- Create and maintain API test cases in SoapUI and end-to-end UI tests in Selenium or Playwright
- Produce clear test reports and dashboards that show pass/fail trends, coverage and risk for releases
- Log, track and retest defects in Jira with Xray, ensuring reproducible steps and technical detail for developers
- Contribute to the team effort to refine a framework for automatic generation of database tables, views and unit tests based on analysis
