An operator that runs thousands of vehicles across Wallonia is consolidating decades of SAP customisations into a single S/4 Hana program, and the migration cannot risk disrupting daily operations. The Program Manager S/4 Hana will bring SAP MM, SAP FICO and proven IT project experience to align business units, tame integrations and deliver a predictable, low-risk go-live.
The Mission
You will join the ERP department that manages SAP for the whole organisation. The S/4 Hana program covers Logistics (SAP MM), Finance (FI/CO), Maintenance (SAP PM) and a Fiori front-end refresh, and it touches back-office processes as well as field operations. The SAP landscape supports roughly 5,200 employees, 2,500 vehicles and 778 service lines, so accuracy in master data and maintenance planning directly affects service reliability.
As a senior Program Manager S/4 Hana, you will define scope, schedule and budget for major workstreams, own partner selection and steer governance from executive steering committees down to day-to-day delivery. You will coordinate with the IT functional analyst, process owners and external suppliers to translate needs into testable deliverables, acceptance criteria and a robust cutover plan. Your work will reduce migration risks and leave the organisation with repeatable processes for run.
Your Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end delivery of the S/4 Hana program, ensuring scope, schedule and budget controls translate into reliable production releases.
- Lead partner selection and vendor management, evaluate proposals and secure contracts that align capability to programme milestones.
- Establish clear governance and executive reporting, chair steering committees and drive decision points to remove cross-functional blockers.
- Translate business priorities into formal requirements with the IT functional analyst, and validate test and acceptance criteria prior to go-live.
- Drive change management across multiple business units in Wallonia, designing training, communications and adoption metrics that reduce disruption.
- Monitor programme risks and dependencies, plan cutover and post-go-live stabilisation to protect daily operations.
Your Profile
Essential Skills
- 15+ years delivering functional SAP projects or S/4 migrations, with full lifecycle accountability.
- Proven expertise in SAP MM, SAP FICO (FI/CO), SAP PM and SAP FIORI, with practical understanding of inter-module integrations.
- Strong IT project experience defining scope, budgets, resource plans and sourcing strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to run vendor selection processes and negotiate statements of work.
- Excellent stakeholder management and governance experience, comfortable with executive-level reporting.
- Practical experience in change management and business enablement, turning workshops into measurable adoption plans.
- Ability to operate autonomously and to travel across business units for workshops and validations.
