Role Overview
Join a cross-functional squad responsible for the Marketing Data Warehouse and Adobe Campaign Classic. As a Senior Data Engineer you will translate business needs into efficient data models and production pipelines that deliver campaign-ready datasets, reports and analytics — owning end-to-end delivery and data security.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and prototyping of logical and physical data models, data flows and mapping rules to feed the Marketing Data Warehouse.
- Engineer and industrialise ETL and data pipelines that ensure timely, accurate and secure delivery of CRM datasets to MDWH and Adobe Campaign.
- Collaborate with marketing, CRM and analytics stakeholders to capture requirements and perform functional analysis that drives practical data solutions.
- Monitor and optimise data loading in Adobe Campaign Classic and improve campaign workflows and deliveries.
- Provide functional and technical support to internal clients, troubleshoot data integration issues and recommend improvements.
- Streamline data pipelines across the organisation to maximise reuse and increase productivity for business consumers.
Required Skills
- Strong SQL programming and query optimisation skills for large-scale CRM datasets and ETL processes.
- Proven experience in data modelling using PowerDesigner or an equivalent enterprise modelling tool (logical and physical designs).
- Practical experience with reporting and analytics tools such as BusinessObjects (BO), SAS and Tableau.
- Hands-on knowledge of Adobe Campaign Classic data structures, data loading and workflow configuration.
- Capability to capture, document and manage functional and non-functional requirements and to perform functional analysis.
- Solid understanding of data governance, security principles and IT architecture concepts.
- Senior-level track record working on CRM/marketing data platforms and data warehouses.
- Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, mathematics or engineering), or equivalent professional experience in analytics.
- Language skills: Fluent English and good Dutch and French to work with local stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in Agile teams and familiarity with tools such as JIRA or Agile Central.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills to bridge business and technical teams.
