A major public healthcare organisation runs a central Microsoft 365 and SharePoint platform used across multiple services. This role exists to design, migrate and maintain SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online solutions while implementing Agentic AI features via Copilot Studio and supporting K2-based workflow modernisation. The work combines platform engineering, migration execution (using ShareGate and other migration tools) and building Power Platform integrations such as Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
The mission
The team owns platform architecture and delivery for document management, forms and workflows built on SharePoint and the Microsoft 365 suite, including Nintex, K2 and automation with Power Platform. Planned work includes inventorying existing Nintex workflows, defining migration paths to K2 or native Microsoft 365 components, and creating Copilot agents to surface AI-assisted answers and automation. You will be working with third-line support processes, release pipelines and migration tooling such as ShareGate Migration.
Day to day you will analyse business needs in stakeholder workshops, produce functional and technical specifications and implement solutions. Typical tasks include configuring SharePoint sites and libraries, converting forms and workflows, developing Power Automate flows and Power Apps, scripting migrations and running validation tests with key users. You will also document solutions, prepare training material and support production rollout and post-migration stabilisation.
Your responsibilities
- Lead analysis and design activities to define migration scenarios and solution roadmaps that reduce operational risk and preserve metadata and permissions
- Deliver and validate SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online implementations, integrating K2, Nintex replacements and Power Platform components
- Execute data and content migrations using ShareGate Migration and custom PowerShell or migration tool scripts, ensuring data conversions and integrity
- Build Copilot agents and AI-assisted features in Copilot Studio to improve search, knowledge retrieval and process automation for business teams
- Provide third-line support and performance monitoring, identifying optimisations for stability and security
- Create training materials and run acceptance testing sessions with business stakeholders to ensure adoption
Your profile
Essential skills
- Practical experience as a medior SharePoint engineer or migration specialist, with hands-on work on SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online
- Proven experience with migration tooling and data conversions, including ShareGate Migration and PowerShell scripting
- Solid knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI
- Experience with K2 platform, and familiarity with Nintex forms and workflows and strategies to replace them
- Familiarity with Copilot Studio and designing AI agents or prompt-driven automation
- Ability to run stakeholder workshops, write functional and technical specifications and translate business processes into solutions
