As a Subject Matter Expert Finance, you will join our client, a leading player in the financial sector, within an Accounting & Reporting Solutions team supporting Finance systems and regulatory/management reporting. In this role, you will act as a Functional Analyst focused on improving and validating Data Quality Controls for sourced data used in Management Accounting Systems and delivered to an ALM group tool. You will analyze existing controls, investigate anomalies, identify root causes, and propose pragmatic solutions while translating business needs into clear requirements and an actionable roadmap.
You will thrive in this position if you enjoy bridging Finance and IT, working with multiple stakeholders, and bringing structure to complex data topics. The role is based in Brussels and requires comfort collaborating with both local and international teams through clear, proactive communication. You can combine analytical thinking with hands-on problem solving, from preparing and coordinating tests to documenting processes and supporting change and user adoption when needed. A strong command of English is essential for day-to-day collaboration and documentation, and you are also fluent in French to engage confidently with stakeholders.
