Digit’Eaux supports digital transformation programmes for water-sector organisations in Wallonia, coordinating IT infrastructure and security work across multiple cooperating utilities. This role exists to run a portfolio of infrastructure and cybersecurity projects, applying IT project management and PMI practices to deliver NIS2 compliance work, cybersecurity strengthening and a Security Operations Center (SOC) implementation.
The mission
You will join a small project management office that coordinates programmes for several major water-sector organisations and accredited sanitation bodies. The technical landscape includes on-prem and cloud infrastructure, network and endpoint security measures, and compliance work against NIS2 requirements. Typical project scopes range from vendor-led SOC deployment to organisation-wide security hardening, with stakeholder groups including operational departments and external suppliers.
On a day-to-day basis you will own a multi-project IT portfolio, from scoping and governance to delivery and handover. You will structure project charters and detailed plans, manage budgets and risks, coordinate internal infrastructure and security experts and external contractors, and present progress in governance committees. Delivery timelines vary by project, with several NIS2 compliance tracks running concurrently over the next 12 to 24 months.

- Coordinate technical teams and external suppliers to deliver a Security Operations Center implementation and related cybersecurity measures on time and within budget.
- Manage project budgets, track costs and forecast financials to maintain control of portfolio-level spend.
- Drive stakeholder management and reporting, prepare steering committee packs and present decision points to governance bodies.
- Control project scope, dependencies and risks across concurrent initiatives to preserve overall programme coherence.
- Produce and validate project deliverables, including project charters, detailed schedules, status reports and budget follow-ups.
