Een rol als Customer Data Analyst binnen het Customer Analysis-team van een grote Belgische financiële instelling, gericht op het omzetten van klantdata in gevalideerde hypothesen en concrete aanbevelingen. Je werkt hands-on met SAS EG, SQL, Python en Power BI om klantgedrag en productbezit binnen retailbankieren en verzekeringen te extraheren, transformeren en visualiseren, ter ondersteuning van commerciële en productstakeholders.
De missie
Het team fungeert als het centrale analytics-hub voor klantinzichten, waarbij transactionele datasets, productportefeuilles en campagneresultaten worden gecombineerd om beslissingen over acquisitie, retentie en productontwerp te onderbouwen. Het technische landschap omvat SAS EG voor data wrangling, SQL en Python voor transformatie en verkennende analyse, en Power BI voor terugkerende dashboards en ad-hocrapporten. Dit is een medior data-analistfunctie binnen een multidisciplinair Customer Analysis-team dat regelmatig analyses oplevert die gebruikt worden door relationship managers en product owners.
Dagelijks zet je businessvragen om in toetsbare hypothesen, lokaliseer en bereid je de benodigde databronnen voor en voer je analyses uit die leiden tot heldere aanbevelingen. Je maakt beknopte slide decks en Power BI-rapporten die de belangrijkste bevindingen en voorgestelde acties toelichten, en je werkt samen met data engineers, productmanagers en business stakeholders om te garanderen dat analyses productieklaar en reproduceerbaar zijn.
Uw verantwoordelijkheden
- Deliver evidence-based recommendations that influence customer approach, product features or campaign targeting, measured by improvement in defined business KPIs
- Translate stakeholder questions into focused hypotheses and analysis plans, ensuring the right variables and data sources are used
- Extract, clean and transform datasets using SAS EG, SQL and Python to create analysis-ready tables and feeds
- Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that are used by commercial teams and risk managers
- Produce clear, to-the-point slide decks with conclusions and prioritized recommendations for business stakeholders
- Contribute to reproducibility by documenting data lineage and collaborating on version control practices (Gitlab where available)
Uw profiel
Essentiële vaardigheden
- At least 4 years of experience as a data analyst with a track record of delivering business impact in financial services
- Strong practical experience with SAS EG, SQL and Python for data preparation and analysis
- Proficient in Power BI for reporting and dashboarding
- Solid understanding of bank and insurance products and how customer behaviours map to those products
- Able to translate complex analyses into concise recommendations and business-focused storytelling
Gewenste vaardigheden
- Experience with Gitlab or similar version control and CI workflows
