This role sits in the Belgian insurance sector and supports ongoing group life policy servicing, with a focus on Sigedis communications and case management. The position exists to back-fill a policy servicing team that processes affiliate files, modifies group insurance contracts, and responds to brokers and clients using internal systems such as Excel, Outlook and the central mainframe.
The mission
You will join a policy servicing function that maintains group life, death, disability and hospitalization coverages, ensuring compliance with rules for extralegal benefits and taxation. Day-to-day work includes processing Sigedis Push Organizers, producing related documentation and applying legal and tax rules to contract changes so policies remain compliant.
In this back-fill role you will handle a defined caseload of client and broker requests by email and phone, update contracts in the central system, and follow up on Sigedis communications. You will work closely with colleagues in policy administration to keep files accurate, meet statutory deadlines, and escalate complex cases to senior administrators when needed.
Your responsibilities
- Process affiliate files and Sigedis Push Organizers to produce complete, regulation-compliant policy documents
- Manage and update group insurance contracts in the central system, applying tax and legal rules to contract modifications
- Analyse and resolve client and broker requests received by email and telephone, ensuring timely follow-up and clear records
- Maintain accurate case files in Excel and the mainframe, ensuring data quality and traceability for audits
- Prioritise and progress multiple cases within strict deadlines, escalating issues that require specialist input
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and external contacts to confirm actions and next steps

Essential skills
- Proven ability to perform detailed case management with high accuracy
- Knowledge of group insurance coverages, including life, death, disability and hospitalization
- Understanding of regulations for extralegal benefits and basic taxation implications
- Experience using Excel, Word, Outlook and a central system or mainframe to record and track cases
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for client and broker interactions
- Service-oriented and solution-focused mindset, with proactivity and attention to detail
