The provincial ICT service supports internal departments by providing reliable systems and secure digital tools. The park's ticketing and event management application, built on Recreatex, needs a temporary senior functional analyst to convert an existing process analysis into application specifications and tender documents, with attention to business process management and webservices integrations.
The mission
The assignment sits inside a public-sector ICT environment that treats the ticketing application as business critical. The technical landscape includes Recreatex for ticketing, webservices integrations to external systems, and a local accounting package, Mercurius. The project has a defined scope: detailed process-to-spec translation across webshop, reservations, payments and reporting, and an estimated budget of 30 working days (240 hours) billed on actual hours.
Day to day you will work with a small stakeholder group (4-6 operational owners) and the provincial ICT architects to turn the park's process descriptions into functional requirements. You will document data and process models, specify webservices and integration points, and draft the technical sections of a procurement specification and an SLA that reflect GDPR and cyber security requirements.
Your responsibilities
- Translate the supplied process analysis into clear application specifications and acceptance criteria that developers and vendors can implement
- Define and prioritise functional requirements using MoSCoW or a similar method so the procurement covers business-critical scope first
- Design data and process models that support webshop, ticketing, guide planning, inventory and payment flows, and document required webservices and integration points
- Produce the technical sections of the tender documentation and contribute to the SLA to ensure operational requirements and security controls are enforceable
- Identify and describe process re-engineering opportunities that reduce manual steps, improve reporting or simplify integrations
- Coordinate validation sessions with stakeholders and support ICT architects on cyber security and GDPR impact points for proposed solutions
